LEslie bellieu: co-founder/ceo
With more than 20 years experience with adults with learning differences, Leslie has grown passionate about purpose driven care. Currently, she acts as Co-Founder & CEO of Southwind Fields. She also serves as a ministry leader at Life Point Church, chairs the Public Policy & Advocacy committee for Autism Lifeline Links, and sits on the board for Matthew 4:16 ministries. Leslie’s experience includes serving as CPO of Methodist Mission Home / Providence Place, co-founder & CEO of The Mercy Coalition, and North Texas Area Director of HCS services. Additionally, she served many years as a disabilities case manager, Autism Subject Matter Expert and Special Needs Aquatic Therapist, which has brought her to better understand the deep need all people have to feel loved, valued, and understood.
Charles Morris: Co-Founder/CPO
Through his nearly 30 years of experience in the field, as well as a member of the Usher's Syndrome/RP community, Charles has developed an incredible gift for truly understanding the needs of those we serve. His heart for the special needs population stems from years of experience as Education & Training Director at Providence Place, a Lion's Camp Counselor, HCS Program Director, Area Director for Hillcountry MHDD Center, and a Client's Rights Officer. Currently, he serves as Co-Founder and CPO of Southwind Fields. Charles is committed to the Southwind Fields lifestyle and adds an incredible devotion to assisting not only our locals, but additionally, our Local Mentors with Vision and/or hearing loss, in continuing to live a life of meaningful interaction and impact.
