JOHNELLE TURNER, lVN: DIRECTOR OF NURSING
As the mother of an adult son with Asperger's, as well as 41 years of nursing experience, Johnelle continues to focus on a more natural approach to wellness. She has a passion to see adults and children with disabilities live to their fullest potential.
Pastor Carrie Land, LMSW, MDiv: Director of spiritual wellness
Pastor Carrie has devoted her life to loving others. She carries a BSW from Slippery Rock University, an MSW from Our Lady of the Lake, and an MDiv from Asbury Theological Seminary. Her extensive experience includes time as the residential manager for United Cerebral Palsy and Director of Residential Services for Goodwill of San Antonio. Additionally, she designed and developed the Deaf-Blind Multi-handicapped program for San Antonio before becoming a vocational rehabilitation counselor for DARS where she retired after 25 years of service. During this time, she also worked as a licensed local Pastor for the United Methodist Church of Kerville before becoming the Chaplain and Adoption Program Director for Methodist Mission Home/Providence Place.
Robert Kwiatkowski: Director of Horticulture
With a BS in horticulture from Texas A&M, as well as Horticultural Therapy Techniques, Programming, and Management certifications, Robert has tremendous experience in Orchard Management and Agricultural Consultations. His experience also includes work in Texas Agrilife Research, Agrilife Extension, Better Process Control for food processing, and Greenhouse Growing. Robert has been married for 30 years and has 4 adult children. He loves horses, dogs, and pretty much all things ag.
Deborah E. Martinez: Licensed professional counselor
Deborah has over 30 years’ experience working within the Department of Defense (DoD) and is retired from the United States Air Force. Most importantly, she is a proud mom of a young man who has High Functioning Autism who is thriving due to interventions such as Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), social skills training and access to fantastic mentors! Deborah’s passion is her faith in Christ and her family. She realizes her son has been very blessed with opportunities and wants to find a way within the San Antonio community for men and women, like her son, to be offered the chance to reach their full potential according to God’s plan for them.
Delaney Morgan: Executive assistant
Delaney’s biggest passion is helping others. She believes in pouring life into all living things and encouraging growth in any way she can. Her strong administrative skills, combined with her ability to see the best in everyone, makes her the perfect fit for the Southwind Fields team. She is heavily involved in equine and animal sciences, with hope of one day building an equestrian therapy program for Southwind that will not only benefit our local’s overall well-being, but will provide optimal employment opportunities for those with similar interests, as well.
